Established in 1395 AH (1975), it aims to provide distinguished medical education and train specialized doctors who can deliver healthcare according to the highest scientific and medical standards. The faculty seeks to equip students with basic and advanced medical knowledge, training them in diagnostic, therapeutic, and research skills across various medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, family medicine, anesthesiology, psychiatry, and others. The faculty also places significant emphasis on research, striving to advance scientific inquiry in the medical field and foster collaboration with local and international research institutions. The faculty offers comprehensive academic programs, with students receiving practical training in university hospitals and medical facilities affiliated with the university. This hands-on experience enhances their clinical and practical skills. The faculty also provides specialized programs in various branches of medicine, in addition to graduate programs designed to prepare doctors for further education and training in advanced medical specialties. The undergraduate medical program is divided into two main phases: basic medical sciences and clinical sciences.
