The Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University was established in 1387 AH / 1967 AD, and has since evolved into one of the leading Faculties in the Kingdom. The academic journey of the Faculty began with a preparatory year, followed by the establishment of its academic departments. The Departments of Business Administration and Economics were the first to be launched, paving the way for the subsequent establishment of other departments. Today, the Faculty of Economics and Administration stands as a center of academic excellence and innovation, dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills required in the dynamic fields of management, economics, and business administration. Through a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the Faculty seeks to integrate theoretical foundations with practical applications. Its distinguished faculty members, known for their professionalism and expertise, foster a rich learning environment that prepares graduates to contribute effectively to the global economy and public administration. The Faculty is also committed to advancing scientific research, leadership, and ethical practices across both the public and private sectors.

Strategic plan

This updated Strategic Plan (2025–2030) for the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University is the culmination of the dedicated efforts made by our committed faculty and administrative staff over the past five years. With this updated plan, we place before you a roadmap—by the will and grace of Allah—that will enable the Faculty to fulfill its mission and strategic objectives. These objectives include ensuring the quality of our academic programs, fostering the personal and professional development of our students in preparation for the labor market, building strong partnerships with public and private sector organizations, and achieving excellence in scientific research.
