Overview

The Faculty of Law holds a distinguished position as one of the key faculties at King Abdulaziz University. It was established to contribute to meeting the Kingdom's need for qualified legal professionals. It also supports national development by preparing specialized Saudi legal experts. In this regard, the Faculty's graduates have the academic and professional skills needed to strengthen national bodies and institutions. They also contribute actively to shaping development plans across various legal and developmental fields. The Faculty aims to equip all its students and graduates with in-depth knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical expertise. These qualities prepare them to handle a wide range of legal matters effectively. The Faculty offers modern academic programs in law that keep pace with current academic and professional developments. It is also committed to providing high-quality legal education to its male and female students and graduates. Its programs are grounded in internationally recognized academic standards that uphold the values of discipline and professionalism. In addition, the Faculty works to promote legal awareness in the community about principles of justice derived from the provisions of Islamic Sharia and national and international laws. The Faculty of Law continues to attract a large number of diverse students. It currently has approximately 3,000 undergraduates and 565 postgraduate students. The Faculty has also succeeded in drawing students from around the world. There are around 60 international students enrolled in undergraduate programs and more than seven in postgraduate studies. Together, they represent more than 23 countries across Asia, North and South America and Africa. This diversity reflects the Faculty's international reputation and the growing global confidence in the quality of its programs.
