King Abdulaziz University Joins Saudi Industry Forum 2026 as Scientific Partner and Launches Industrial Community Initiative

King Abdulaziz University is participating as a Scientific Partner in the Saudi Industry Forum 2026, held in Jeddah from September 14 to 16 at the Jeddah Superdome. The forum brings together government entities, industry leaders, investors and experts to discuss the future of Saudi industry, investment opportunities, national talent development, and stronger integration across sectors.

 

As part of the forum, King Abdulaziz University is launching the “Industrial Community” initiative, designed to build an integrated network connecting the University, its students, alumni and faculty members with partners across the industrial sector. The initiative aims to transform engagement between academia and industry into a sustainable partnership that helps align academic programs and graduate capabilities with the evolving needs of the labor market.

 

Launched through the Saudi Industry Forum 2026, the initiative seeks to strengthen two-way knowledge exchange and academic collaboration between the University and industrial sectors, while creating opportunities for industry professionals to contribute their perspectives on strategic industrial trends and their alignment with labor market requirements.

 

Among its key objectives is the development of a verified industrial database of alumni and partners, categorized by sector, organization and role. The initiative will also connect University students with cooperative training opportunities, career mentoring and industry opportunities, while establishing a scalable model that can later expand to additional disciplines and fields under the “KAU Connect” umbrella.
