20260412890King Abdulaziz University, represented by the General Department of Social Responsibility and the Institutional Communication Center, hosted the “Promising Media Talent” project in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Association in Jeddah. The initiative aims to develop national talent, empower young people, and professionally prepare them in line with labor market needs. The two week program launched its first activities on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
A total of 32 trainees registered for the training program, which focuses on equipping participants with skills in photography, from the basics to professional photography, photo editing, and image production. It also covers advertising and marketing content writing, graphic design fundamentals, design using Illustrator, media production using artificial intelligence tools, motion graphics production, and digital marketing campaign management, in addition to practical field training designed to refine participants’ skills.
Focused on combining theoretical training with professional practice, the program includes specialized workshops that aim to develop skills, enhance participants’ practical experience, and qualify talent for quality employment and professional opportunities. This is delivered through integrated training content that keeps pace with current needs and labor market requirements.
Participants will also receive accredited certificates in several key fields, issued with approval from the relevant authorities, contributing to stronger employment opportunities and higher professional readiness among beneficiaries.
The “Promising Media Talent” project aims to bridge the gap between labor market needs and qualified local talent, enabling young people to enter the content creation industry with direct practical skills.
This initiative forms part of the “Promising Media Talent” project launched by the Social Responsibility Association in Jeddah, with funding from the King Khalid Foundation under the Green Opportunities Grant. It is a qualification initiative targeting unemployed young men and women aged 20 to 30 in the Makkah Region, equipping them with professional skills that open new opportunities in the media and advertising sector.
