King Abdulaziz University hosted Eng. Suliman Al-Mazroua, President of the Saudi
Ports Authority (Mawani), on Monday, April 13, 2026, to discuss ways to enhance
strategic cooperation.
University President Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama welcomed Al-Mazroua and the
accompanying delegation, saying the visit reflects the university’s commitment to
strengthening partnerships with government entities and expanding cooperation with
them, particularly in vital sectors.
He added that Mawani is one of the Kingdom’s key economic enablers, helping
reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub in line with the goals of
Saudi Vision 2030.
