Amel Shoaib is an assistant professor at King Abdulaziz University, The Department of European Languages and Literature, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the School of English Studies at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK and an MA in English Language Teaching from the School of Education from the same educational institution. She is a qualitative researcher who is very interested in the topics: Teacher/Student Motivation, Blended Learning, Games in the Classroom, Teacher/Student Course Reflections, and Teacher Feedback and its Relationship to Enhanced Learning. Her main goal when it comes to her career is to make a difference to academic teaching and learning.
