Amel Shoaib is an assistant professor at King Abdul-Aziz University, The Department of European Languages and Literature, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the School of English Studies at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK and a MA in English Language Teaching from the School of Education at the same university. She is a qualitative researcher who is very interested in the topic of 'Teacher & Student Motivation'. Her main goal when it comes to her career is to make a difference to academic teaching and learning.
