(Canned responses to Create a template for the information you always send to avoid misspellings or grammatical errors.)

Creating a template to reply through official university email :

Creating the template facilitates replying to all your inbox messages via a special unified template designed to save your time instead of creating a template and its own formats in each reply.

  • First: Logging in to the official university email is available through the following screen:
  • Second: After log in is successful, press the gear icon(email settings) then click on “settings” as demonstrated in the following picture:
  • Third: Choose “Labs” tab then activate the element “Canned Response” then save as shown in the following picture:
  • Forth: Create an empty message and insert the pictures and the text to be placed in the reply form. Inserting photos in a message is done by clicking on(insert photo) which can be found in the lower icons that appear when moving the mouse pointer over(+) sign.Then the next screen will appear where we can insert a photo from computer or from a website link. Then click “OK” and the photo will be inserted:
  • Fifth: The template is now ready. It will be saved by clicking on the arrow located on the bottom right. Choose “Canned Responses”, then “New Canned Responses” and a window will appear, where one can write the template’s name. Then click “OK” as illustrated in the following picture:
  • Sixth: The template created can be used when sending a new message or replying to any incoming message by composing a new message, or by choosing to reply to any message. That can be done by going to the arrow located on the far right and choosing“Canned Responses”. Then choose (insert)for the name of the template, as shown in the following picture:
  • And the template will appear as shown in the next screen :
