a. Students will form their own groups.
b. The group members will be (5-6).
c. The group is required to nominate a team leader and write the name of their members.
d. Each group will choose one of the following topics:
· Staff development and continuing Education
· Committees & Meetings
· Cultural diversity
· Nursing Informatics/ and use of computer in health care.
· Understanding and dealing with difficult people
· Staff performance evaluation/ appraise
· Policies & procedures
· Employment procedure and recruitment.
· Stress management.
· Time management.
· Resource allocation.
e. The group will make a list of the task of its group members (in writing).
f. Each group will prepare a 20 minute- oral presentation (in English) followed by 10 minutes discussion.
g. Students are encouraged to search the topic from textbooks, journals and web sites (References should be written).
h. Students can use various methods (e.g. power point, OHP over head projector, role play, leaflets) CREATIVITY is encouraged.
i. Date of presentation will be as scheduled (see teaching plan)
(Students presentations will start the 3rd week to allow for planning and preparation of materials).
j. Each presentation will be evaluated using an evaluation form in terms of several criteria (see Presentation Evaluation Form).
k. Each member will be evaluated based on their participation in this activity
