Internship year 
• Sept.1992 to August 1993.{2 months Obst. & Gyne., month  each  of Radiology  & Emerg., 2 months Pedia. 3 months General   Med., 3 months Surgery (with 1 month in Anesthesia & ICU)}.

Residency  
• Anesthesia Demonstrator in the Department of Anesthesia, College of Medicine & Allied Sciences, King Abdulaziz University- Sept. 1993 to April 1995.
• Locum anesthesia resident for six weeks in the King Khalid National Guard Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.   
• Resident at the Royal College Training Program in Anesthesia at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. July 1995 to June 1999.
Fellowships 
• Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship at department of anesthesia UOM, July 1999 to June 2000.
• Basic  Anesthesia Research Fellowship July 2000-June 2001
