Abstract : A 6-pulse line-commutated thyristorized inverter is built to connect a photovoltaic (PV) system to the utility grid. The inverter is controlled by a digital controller and fired by a digital firing technique using microcomputer. This leads to a high firing resolution and synchronization, minimizing the hardware circuitry, and enhancing system reliability. Also we used two hardware interrupt requests to save more time to another tasks for the computer.
