Abstract : This study is titled: Precautionary Measures of Punishment in Social Service and its Judicial Applications، which aimed to identify the reality of punitive applications in social service as a precautionary measure in the Saudi system. And conducting analysis and comparison between the judicial applications of ta’zir in social service as a precautionary measure in the Saudi system and some Arab and Western systems to identify its effects in protecting society and achieving reform and rehabilitation for perpetrators، and their role in achieving the real goals of punishment (protecting society، preserving the entity of society، and protecting individuals). However، in order to achieve the objectives of this study، the researcher used the descriptive، inductive، and deductive method. The researcher also used the descriptive analytical method، which is one of the forms of organized scientific analysis and interpretation to describe a specific phenomenon or problem، and depict it quantitatively. On the field side، the researcher analyzed some of the previous issues in the first part of the field study. Moreover، in the second part، the questionnaire was used to collect information from the research community. The questionnaire consisted of four parts and included (46) phrases، and represented the research community of all judges working in the judicial system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the conduct of the study، where the researcher obtained، through the electronic questionnaire، a sample of (110) judges، which was represented in the study sample. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data of the study، The study concluded the following: 1. The current sutdy shown a lack in the application of reprimanding in social service as one of the precautionary measures in the Saudi system. And that is through approval by a percentage of 68%، which is a high percentage in a statistically significant way، where the significance value associated with the chi-square test
