Abstract : The qualitative and quantitative analysis of corn oil (1), corn oil (2), soyabean oil and nakheel oil used in Saudi Arabia as well as hematite, phosphate ore samples and Saudi petroleum have been achieved by using the neutron capture γ-ray technique. An isotopic neutron source of (5 Ci241Am/Be) and a hyper pure germanium detection system were used. The percentage concentration values by mass of some elements for each sample are given. © 1994.
