All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds and peace be upon our prophet
Mohammed and his family and followers.
This research’s target is to serve the Islamic heritage and enrich Islamic -Fiqh library
through extracting one of the most important manuscript which tackles the procedures of
Hajj and consequently relates directly to the fifth pillar of Islam that is Hajj to the sacred
house of Allah. The importance of this manuscript increases when its author is a
prominent scholar ; the Mufti of Makkah. This book also, is an explanation of Hajj
chapter that is taken from the primary texts in HanafiMadhab that is KanzulDa’kayek
which was written by Abu Abdullah El-nesfie. As to the approach of this research and its
course, is to verify the original text of this manuscript against other written copies,
rewrite it in the modern style of orthographic rules, adding punctuation marks, adding
upper phonetic symbols or what is called “Tashkeel”, reference all verses that were
mentioned, reference all Hadiths that were mentioned, reference all juristic opinions and
choices to those who made them and comment on points that need to clarification or
illustration without verbosity or redundancy so that this book be as much close and
accurate as his author wanted it to be. Additionally, this work contains on: an
introduction, two divisions and a conclusion. The first division covers two chapters; the
first included a full biography of the author discussing his parentage, growth, his most
preeminent teachers and apprentices, his intellectual production, other scholars’
acknowledgment to him and finally his death. As regard to the second chapter, it
contains a concentrated study of the manuscript implicating its significance, a
description of its copies and the approach that the author applied in it. Regarding to the
second division, it contains an authentication of Qiran’s chapter or entry, Tamattu’s
entry as well as crimes’ section in addition to what could relates to it from other issues.
Finally, I concluded this research with technical indexes that exposes the continents of
this thesis.
