Abstract : This research is tackling the poetic rhythm in the Saudi "Tafilah Poetry" in order to identify its structure and disclose its phases of rhythmic formation. The methodology of the study depends on an analytic study which takes its texts as the basis for building it results through utilizing the Saudi "Tafilah Poetry" as its main substance. The study started from "Poetry" as the basis in reading and criticizing the text, through keeping the door widely opened before other human sciences factors i.e. psychology and sociology through opening a complementary dialogue with the critical procedures in reading texts. By doing so, the research ignored theories and focused on practice. At the end, the study adopted scientific methodology lightening the dark dimension in the rhythmic systems in the "Tafilah Poetry" through identifying the roles of its functions in the texts of the study in order to have results aim to raise new questions in the space of the rhythm of the contemporary Saudi poetry.
