Abstract : This thesis does not focus on the poets themselves but instead on the critical discourse that had carried their biography. Therefore it tried to discover how the poets biographer deal with that huge amount of heritage tales and narrations. The study discussed the literariness of the whole biography making process in general and what could lead to make it completely concealed. The concept of literariness itself was always in doubt and needed to be deeply tackled, in order to reveal the real role of the old Arabic heritage corpus in constructing human being in general. This aspect in fact can lead to disclose the fact that this sort of writing is really original science in the Arabic and Islamic culture. Therefore the study took the aspect of originality as an evidence to deny the claim that the process of biography was only an imitation of other writings or other fields in the old culture, that claim which the modern critical study has proved it was not true at all, but it has got its own paradigm as well as all other traditional Arabic sciences. According to what has been mentioned above the central subject of this thesis was "literariness of the paradigm". It has been necessarily divided into two main parts. The first part concerned the phenomenon of writing about poets in a wide range as it was a part of writing movement in the Arabian culture. So when the study concentrated on the mutual traditions between many different human sciences, it was aiming to get to the distinguished identity of the studied phenomenon. Part two tackled the seeming oldest two poets lives books in the Arabian heritage. Those two books actually presented two different and contradicted theses. If those two books proved to be really the oldest, then we can claim that the traditional Arabic criticism, unless the other normative Arabic sciences, stand on two distant and dissimilar theses. All researchers apparently did not notice the difference between these two theses, probably because there was someone liked the two seem as only one.
