Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammadand upon all his family and companions. To proceed:
The study tackles the psychological component and its impact on the poetic creativity in order to recognize the psychological motives in the Pre-Islamic Sa'aliks' poetry and its impact on the poetic creativity as such motives define the dimensions of the poetic experience, personality components, and their relation to the environment the poet lives in. The study adopts the psychological approach, which depends on the psychological inputs in analyzing Sa'aliks' poetry, in order to identify the psychological components and its impact on the poetic creativity of Sa'aliks.
The study consists of an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. The first part of the introduction presents the psychological component and its impact on the poetic creativity, while the second part concerns with Sa'alka concept and reasons behind its appearance. Chapter1 includes three themes;ColorComplex, Expatriation, and Rejection and Rebellion.
Chapter 2 focuses on "The Psychological Contrastive Dualities in Sa'aliks' Poetry". It contains three themes; "Duality of Ego and the Other", "Duality of Pleasure and Pain", and "Duality of Life and Death".
Chapter 3 presents the impact of the psychological component on Sa'aliks' poetry and contains three themes; "Artistic Image", "Syntactic Structure", and "Rhythm".The study is concludedwith the most important outcomes including: the relation between psychological components and poetic creativity. The psychological component plays an effective role in shaping potentialsin various forms of innovation and hasa prominent effect on the poetic innovation as a driving force. |
