The study aims to identify the traditional fish fishing in the north of the Red Sea properties: a
geographical study of the area between Rabigh and Dhuba, by selecting the fishing areas in
the study between Rabigh and Dhuba region, and aims to see the fish that live in the study
area types, and geographical factors whether natural or human that affect traditional fish
fishing operations, in addition to the study of fishing methods used with a focus on the most
important organization for the operations of the fishing laws, as well as knowledge of
production and consumption volumes, and the areas of marketing, and the extent of the
contribution of fisheries as a natural source of food, and finally to identify the problems faced
by traditional fishing in the study area.
The researcher used quantitative descriptive approach: which is based on the description of
phenomena by analyzing the numbers and their relation to connectivity, as well as it helps in
getting accurate results help to draw a conclusion that is designed by the researcher.
The study concluded that many of the results of the most important is that there is a
difference in fish and quantities types from time to time by hunting and other factors affecting
the season, as it is clear that still use traditional fishing methods to the most commonly used
when fishermen in spite of the existence of modern fishing methods, as there influential
factors and a clear geographical conditions in the composition suitable for the formation of
food for fish and President environment, as that suffered by fishermen more is the presence
of foreign labor.
The study found many of the recommendations aimed at intensifying efforts for cooperative
associations for fishermen, as well as the establishment of special schools to train fishermen
and make them aware of the importance of preserving the fish, and applying for Responsible
and safety laws for fishing instructions, and the need to provide information and maps of the
study area from Rabigh to Dhuba northern Red Sea , so as to facilitate searches recommended
be set up in the future, and control fishing more and impose sanctions on violators, increasing
publications indicative of the Ministry of Agriculture and water, "fisheries research Center,"
and doing the rounds freely in order to discover new areas, the protection of sea water
pollution factories and oil tankers to impose severe restrictions not to dump waste into the
sea, and the development of the means used in sea water cleaned up does not affect the
fisheries. |
