Abstract : The study analyzed 1045 metadata elements appeared in 261 sites on the award-winning digital excellence in the Arab world that has been distributed to 44 meta tags. The study relied on analytical descriptive method in identification of sites and analysis of their existing metadata elements by analyzing the "source code" for each page. The study found the presence of the title tag in 260 sites represented 99.62%, followed by type meta tag represented 84.67%, followed by keywords meta tag represented 47.31%, then the description meta tag represented 43.30%, then the robot meta tag represented 19.16%.
