The QS World University Ranking 2018 (academic year: 2017/2018)

 QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).  The QS system comprises the global overall and subject rankings, QS designed its rankings in order to assess performance according to key aspects of a university's mission: teaching, research, nurturing employability, and internationalization. The ranking is lunched annually in June of each year. Where 2018 edition corresponds to the academic year 2017/2018.

Since 2014, King Abdulaziz University (KAU) moved up 93 places. Over the 5 considered years, the institution moved up 4 times and did not present negative performances. In the 2018 edition, the institution performed among the top 28% in the QS World University Rankings. Considering there are approximately 26,000 universities globally, this makes King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) one of the top 1.0% universities in the World.
