KAU Hosts 7th Scientific Conference for GCC Medical Students

Having received the go-ahead from HRH Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Inspector General, HE Dr Khalid M. Al-Angari, Minister of Higher Education, will patronize the 7th Scientific Conference for GCC Medical Students to be held at the KAU main Ceremonial Hall and Conference Center from 13-16 February 2010, corresponding to 29 Safar-2 Rabi' Al-awwal 1431.
The conference, one of the largest in the GCC region, is projected to attract over 1500 medical and science undergraduate and postgraduate students.
It will also include keynote presentations by renowned international scientists, oral and poster communications, workshops, a scientific exhibition and a variety of exciting social events.
The four main topics of the conference will be osteoporosis, stem cells, medical education and cancers.
The event will also provide a unique forum where medical professionals from the Kingdom and the GCC states will have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas and information in the field of medical education and the latest scientific developments.
