Education programme on Islamic finance held by IEI
As part of the cooperation between King Abdulaziz University (KAU) and IE University, Spain, the Islamic Economics Institute (IEI) at the King Abdulaziz University (KAU) has held its first international four-day executive education programme in Islamic finance on Sunday January 26th 

15 senior executives from Europe, North America and East Asia took part in the event held at King Faisal Convention Centre. Abdullah Turkistani, dean of IEI, said the university along with its partner, IE University in Madrid, had been working on the initiative for some time and the IEI had been providing a training programme on Islamic finance to IE Master's level students. 

The IEI, after evolving into an institute from a research center, will also launch an executive Master's in  programme in Islamic finance on Jan. 30th.
