     - Major in International Relations (with area of concentration in International Political Economy and in Foreign Policy).

     - Minor in Comparative Politics, Political Behavior, and Political Research methodology.

     - Dissertation Title: "Regime types and development performance: An empirical study of the effect of military controlled regimes on

                                    economic development".

· M. A., in political Science, UA (Major in International Relation; Minor in Comparative Politics).

· B. S., in Political Science, King Abdul-Aziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia.

 

Professional Responsibilities:

· Director of the Public Policy Graduate Program; Associate Professor, Political Science Department, KAU.

· President of the "Expertise House for Public Policy Studies", an office that provides specialized consultation and Research services, under the umbrella of the "Business and Knowledge Alliance", KAU.

· Vice President of the Saudi Political Science Association (SPSA), 2011-2014.

Research interests:

In addition to the above areas of specialization, the research interests include issues related to: political risk assessment, public policy analyses, development and social transformation, globalization, political economy, and political curriculum design.

· Preparing and Conducting “The International Crisis Management Training Program” for the Saudi Foreign Ministry Employees, in Cooperation with the “Institute of Diplomatic Studies”, (Jeddah 20-24 April 2014).
