I am an assistant professor in the department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah

I received my PhD in 2014 and my M.S. in 2009 from Rochester Institue of Technology, Rochester, NY; B.S. from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah

 My research interest lies in security and privacy in computer and information systems and applied cryptography, with an emphasis on the development of models for secure access, and the viability of these models for healthcare and health information exchanges
