Vice Dean - Responsibilities & Powers

 Work in  achieving the goals and policies of the University and implement regulations for the faculty

  Implements the decisions of the Faculty Council and other resolutions and directives pertaining to college and issued by the Rector, agents or university councils.

  Oversees the implementation of rules and regulations between the employees of the college

  Develop educational programs through the Departments and faculty councils

  Oversees the preparation of the overall budget and the preparation of its five-year plan and follow up their implementation

 Oversees the implementation of scientific departments to set plans and coordination among them and directing the heads of Departments and their follow-up

  Submit an annual report to the Director of University Affairs, education and other aspects of the activity in the college

 Preside over the Faculty Council and implement the decisions issued by him after the approval of the Rector and follow up their implementation.

  Nominate the members of the editorial board of the scientific journal published by the college in preparation for submission to the College Board and the Scientific Council

 Recommends the appointment or promotion of Saudi faculty members based on the nominations from the departments and approval from the College Board

  Attend the meetings of the boards of academic departments, once at least during the academic year and has the right to preside over it

 Can ask the Director of the university to form a committee to investigate irregularities among faculty members and adopt its recommendations

 Authorizes additional lectures regardless of the financial benefits or the limits of the approved budget

  Issue administrative and financial decisions in accordance with the powers conferred on him

 Any other tasks falling in the jusrisdiction of the Dean that do not interfere with the university's system and regulations
