The Attitudes and Public Opinion Research Unit

The unit is concerned with measuring people ’s attitudes and public opinion regarding major social issues, in order to provide the official decision maker with the knowledge he needs of major attitudes and trends in the society.


Unit Objectives :

1. To conduct studies on social development and public opinion.

2. To carry out studies on attitudes towards social groups.

3. To measure attitudes in the society towards problems of poverty and unemployment.

4. To measure people ’s attitudes towards youth issues.

5. To measure attitudes in the society towards the problem of terrorism.

6. To measure social trends concerning the socialization of the youth and other family issues.

7. To measure society ’s attitudes towards service institutions and civil society institutions.

8. To provide scholarly consultation to institutions concerned with gaining knowledge of public opinion and public trends.
