His Royal Highness, Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Governor of Makkah Province, visits the Governorate of Al Kamil.

On Tuesday, May the 31st, 2011, corresponding to the 28th of Jumada II, 1432, His Royal Highness, Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Governor of the Peovince of Makkah, paid a visit to the province of Al Kamil as part of his tour of the provinces and municipalities of the region. His Royal Highness inspected the quality of services in the Governorate of Al Kamil and met the local population to listen to their needs and requests. His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency the President of KAU, Prof. Osama Bin Sadiq Tayeb, His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman bin Obaid AlYoubi, His Excellency the Vice President for Projects, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafeel |
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Excellency, Mr. Nacer H'mood Al-Sbii, Governor of the Governorate of Al- Kamil, Sheikh Mohsen Mesbahi , Honorable Judge at the Religious Court, the Police Chiefs of Makkah and Al Kamil, the Chairman and members of both Al Kamil local and municipal councils, His Excellency the Dean of the faculty of Sciences and Arts Al Kamil, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Bin Bakr Hariri, the Faculty Vice Deans, the teaching staff, students, the dignitaries and tribal elders in the province.

Accompanied by Al Kamil Governor and other local and regional governmental department heads, HRH, the Governor of the region of Makkah, chaired Al Kamil Local Council meeting at the Town Hall. During the meeting, some projects - finalized and pending - were discussed along with other issues related to the needs and requests of the local community. Also, His Highness instructed the Local Council to precipitate the construction process oerve the inhabitants.

His Royal Highness was eager to meet the male and female students of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al Kamil Governorate. He interacted with the students and created a friendly atmosphere that encouraged them to communicate their queries and converse openly with His Royal Highness.
It is worth mentioning that several developmental projects at the KAU Branch in Al Kamil are underway. Hence, Female students’ classes are due to start at the beginning of the next academic year 2011-2012, together with the construction of several additional buildings to host new colleges and departments for both male and female students.
