Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Lectures on Saudi Moderation Approach at KAU

Contemplating the emergence and progression of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a cause for pleasure and optimism, a lecture has heard.
HE Prof Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, was delivering a lecture entitled "Foundations and Principles of Saudi Moderation Approach" held at King Abdulaziz University as part of the programme of Prince Khalid Al Faisal's Chair for Consolidating Saudi Moderation Approach.
Prof Aba Al-Khail also described the Kingdom as a model of a unique modern country.
He also added that the Saudi moderate approach was based on four main pillars; the Holy Quran, the Prophet's Sunnah, the path of Salaf as-Salih "Pious Predecessors", and justice,
He also pointed out that the Kingdom had adopted a moderate approach ever since the reign of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He further added that some contributory factors had helped foster the foundations and principles of the moderation approach, including the prevalence of Shoura "consultation", charity, good will, sincerity, good manners, sense of agreement, constructive dialogue, generosity of the Kingdom's rulers and discouragement of terrorism, corruption, fanaticism, extreme religious and behavioural beliefs and westernization.
He also hailed the role of Prince Khalid Al Faisal's Chair for Consolidating Saudi Moderation Approach towards instilling the Saudi moderate approach and raising the society’s awareness of its advantages.
