HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, has congratulated Dr Adnan Al Mazrooa, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and other KAU members of staff on receiving prizes for their outstanding services in the health care sector.
The gesture was made during the International Medical Conference, which took place on Monday 16th Jumada’11430 at the Jeddah-based International Medical Center (IMC).
Dr Husna Irfan Banjar, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, received the Nursing Distinction Award.
Dr Mohammed Galal Assayad, Head Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, won the prize for clinical excellence.
Ms Mariam Abdulaziz Salih Ba Mihriz, from the KAU Hospital, got the prize for nursing practice.
Ms Sahar Hisham Milhis, from the KAU Hospital, got the prize for developing the domestic health care programme on high quality standards.
Prof Jameela Abdulaziz Ghari, from the Department of Pediatrics, got the prize for clinical excellence.
Prof Tayyeb congratulated the honoured members of staff on their well-deserved achievements and wished them continued success and distinction.
