Medical Education Workshops Closed

A series of medical education development workshops organised by the KAU Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with Illinois University, Chicago, USA, have been concluded.

The workshops were under the auspices of Dr Adnan Abdullah Al Mazroo, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr Abdulaziz Bokar, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Quality and Development, Head Department of Medical Education and the workshops' local coordinator, pointed out that a number of private and public sector entities from Jeddah and outside Jeddah and the Saudi Society for Medical Education had taken part in the programme to discuss a variety of topics with the aim of developing the medical education technologies.

According to Dr Bokar, holding the workshops was a pioneering initiative to foster the new concepts of medical education in Saudi universities to ensure the obtainment of the most prodigious output from Saudi medical faculties. 

This was released by Mr Ahmed Sa'ad Al Ghamidi, Supervisor General of Public Relations and Media at the Faculty of Medicine.
