Engineering Day at KAU

Under the auspices of HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU Presdient, the KAU Faculty of Engineering will hold the Engineering Day Programme from Tuesday-Wednesday 7th-8th April 2009, corresponding to 11th-12th Rabi' Al Thani 1430 at the KAU main Conference and Ceremony Hall.

Dr Faisal Ibrahim Iskandarni, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, pointed out that some outstanding scientific research projects conducted by teaching members of staff and postgraduate students would be reviewed during the programme, adding that an engineering exhibition would also be arranged for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Dr Iskandarni went on to say that prospects of cooperation between the KAU Faculty of Engineering and other private sector companies would be brought up for discussion, in which some high-ranking executives of national companies would take part.

He also added that invitations had been extended to relevant government and private sector companies and corporations to take part and to seize the opportunity to outline their activities and recruitment opportunities.
