The Faculty of Environmental Designs (FED) signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL)

 

The Faculty of Environmental Designs (FED) signs a memorandum of understanding (mou) with jones Lang LaSalle Company for cooperation in scientific, occupational, studies and development over the next three years. Such cooperation agreement will enhance the company's business development and enriches its role as one of the most prominent real estate developers in the Kingdom.


The FED Dean, Dr. Mohamed bin Omar Al Joufi and Mr. Jamil Ghaznawi, country representative and president of the JLL office in the kingdom, signed the MOU.


Dr. Al Joufi expressed his satisfaction for the launching of such partnership through which the university will provide its academic and knowledge professionals in order to promote real estate development sector and find solutions to the various challenges.


Dr. Al Joufi declared, "We are proud to establish this cooperation framework with one of the most important real-estate development company at the kingdom as well as international levels.  A company which is known for its good reputation, professionalism and integrity." He also noted that the cooperation will include organizing scientific seminars, lectures, forums, meetings and conferences that deal with issues of common interest. The cooperation will allow both parties to take advantage of each one of them experiences in the field.


From his part, Mr. Jamil Ghaznawi, expressed his honor and pride to establish this cooperation framework with King Abdulaziz University which is considered one the most important academic edifices in the kingdom and around the world. He also declared "We aspire forward to employ this MOU to the advancement of the development of real-estate  in the Kingdom and attract young Saudis to work in this vital sector, as the real estate is considered one of the main pillars of the national economy."


He also noted that the two parties will prepare a training and employment program for FED students and graduates. They will also invest their academic and field knowledge and experiences to participate in the preparation of engineering studies, development works at the kingdom level to serve developmental objectives that the government seeks to implement.


In addition, JLL will work on the training and rehabilitation of national cadres and provide them with employment opportunities in all its division as well as professional development opportunities once onboard according to rules and regulation in place.
