HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, has launched  on Wednesday 19th Zul Hijja 1429 an online press file compiled by the Department of Public Relations and Media.
The file contains KAU news, essays by KAU academics, higher education news and other community-related issues.
The Deanship of Information Technology has set up the file and linked it to the sources of news.
To access the file, visitors need to click on the "Electronic Releases" icon at the KAU main website.
The move is a step forward by the KAU administration to fully computerize all its activities and management systems. Automation of systems is an essential factor, which has prompted the University's win of this year's Prize of Digital Excellence, making it the only Saudi university to scoop three different excellence awards for the third year in a row.
KAU has also won the 2005 Digital Excellence in Government Websites' Prize, and the 2006 Digital Excellence in Websites of Educational Institutions' Prize..
It has also made stupendous attainments in other academic and technology-related domains and received a number of prizes, appreciation certificates and academic accreditations.
