Khulais Faculty of Science and Arts Acquires ISO 9001:2008

 

The Faculty of Science and Arts in Khulais has been audited and certified complainant with the ISO 9001:2008 standards by Bureau Veritas (BV).

Accreditation was granted after a BV survey team visited the Faculty to verify its information database, view the environment and facilities and meet with administrators, faculty members and students.

Dr Mansour A. Al-Hazimi, the Faculty's dean, expressed his sheer delight with the accomplishment, ascribing it to the firm support of HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, and Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, Vice-President for Educational Affairs.

The achievement, according to him, bears witness to the earnest efforts made by the Faculty's staff in line with a self-assessment policy aimed at improving the quality of services and meeting international standards and performance criteria, making the best use of modern technology.
