Department of Civil Engineering Awarded Bronze Distinguished Research Award by KACST

The Department of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering has been granted the Distinguished Research Award- third category (bronze)- by King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology (KACST).

The award was given for a research on the environmental effects of municipal wastewater disposal along the Red Sea coast adjoining Jeddah.
 
The research was conducted by Dr Abdullah M. Mohorjy as chief researcher and Dr Ahmed M. Khan and Dr Saleh F. Maghram as co-researchers.

Dr Abdurrahman I. Al-Abdali, KACST's General Director of Research Grants, pointed out that the award was given in recognition of the significance of the research's findings.
