I started my career in obstetrics & gynecology as a Registrar for more than 3 years at
Maternity Hospital in Cairo which is a tertiary referral center in obstetrics & gynecology. It
Is one of the biggest specialized maternity hospitals in the Middle East attracting more than
10000 deliveries a year
In this hospital, I had my basic clinical training in the specialty on a scientific solid
Background; I got wide experience in the proper management of all obstetric emergencies
Including massive obstetric hemorrhage and all the indications for caesarean sections as
well as proper assessment and management of all cases of high risk pregnancies.
On the obstetric side, I got used to the routine labor ward procedures with its different
management protocols and the proper fetal monitoring technique
