 Professor

Profile

  • Collectively and without hesitating, the biopharmaceutical industry is a key part of the knowledge-based economy, providing valuable employment opportunities for Egyptian researchers and creating outputs that have great potential to contribute to Egyptian well-being. Biopharmaceutical development, however, is inherently a high risk activity. Egypt may has few promising companies with good potential in selected niches, but these firms face significant financial, human resource and other impediments to their long-term growth. This was and will be a hot point for my research activities in coming years, based on the scientific knowledge I have;
    1. Biotechnology and Molecular Biology
    2. Immunology, Molecular immunology, Immunochemistry, Protein Chemistry and Crystallography.
    3. Production of antibodies with different kind of methodologies known.
    4. Design, creation and production of biopharmaceuticals and biosimilars products including vaccines and nanovaccines (from gene to protein).
    5. Separation and purification to homogeneity of therapeutical proteins, polysaccharides and their invitro bioassay.
Protein-protein, protein-polysaccharides interaction and conjugation technologies
