Background (Brief Biography)

Prof. Dr. Hosny Mohamed Sayed Hasanean is currently an professor in the Department of Meteorology, Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Dr. Hasanean is also member associate in the Abdu-Salam International Center for theoretical physics (ICTP) Trieste, Italy. He is international editorial board in the International Journal of Meteorology and he also, is a referee  to many international journal in Meteorology. He obtained his B. Sc. in 1981 in mathematics and Master Degree in 1998 from the Department of Astronomy and Meteorology, Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt.  He completed his PhD in the Department of Astronomy and Meteorology, Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt.  In 1996.  The title of his PhD was “Validation and evaluation of cloud parameterization roles in atmospheric radiation process".
