Objectives:
The field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine is rapidly expanding. As an MFM specialist, I can reassure you that my knowledge and efforts will be dedicated to improving health care and that all my skills will be utilized to serve patients very well. I do believe that dealing with two lives including the mother and her baby is indeed a blessing. My primary goal is to devote myself entirely to work under top quality standards in the field of MFM.

Skill Highlights:

Pre-pregnancy evaluations.
- All common clinical problems encountered in MFM such as Preterm Labour, Premature Rupture of Membranes, IUGR, Preeclampsia, multiple gestations, fetal anomalies, maternal medical and surgical disorders (with their impact on the fetus), substance abuse, etc.
- Basic principles of human genetics as they apply to clinical MFM (e.g. in cases of Down's Syndrome/screening counselling).
- Invasive Diagnostic testings (Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling).
Teratology: ability to adequately counsel patients at risk (e.g. exposure to certain antiepileptics).
- Practice evidence-based medicine.
- Provide reliable and comprehensive ongoing patient care.
- Safe and appropriate surgical, Instrumental and medical approaches to delivery (e.g. classical C/S VS LSCS).
- Proper management of patients with maternal or fetal disorders throughout their pregnancies either in a hospital or ambulatory care setting.

MFM Fellowship:
- A minimum of 800 tests which have been distributed over the significant testing areas of first and second-trimester ultrasound (including nuchal translucency and fetal anatomy), fetal assessment (including advanced fetal Doppler) and female pelvic ultrasound.
- I was involved in approximately 200 hours of hands-on obstetrics and gynecology laboratory experience, as well as an extensive educational curriculum in obstetrics and gynecology, fetal medicine, pathology and physical principles.
- Excellent scores in the RDMS exams including the basic and clinical parts
Completed the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) course through the Burwin Institute and awarded 30 SDMS CME hours on November 2017.
- During the Fellowship training, I had the opportunity to work in the different areas related to MFM to achieve a higher level of education and to be prepared to work as safe and competent staff by the end of that extensive training. These areas included MFM service, Clinics, Ultrasound scanning and reporting, Genetics, Research, 0b Medicine, and Fetal ECHO
