Graduated from King Abdulaziz University in 1999. Joined the Pediatric department at King Abdulaziz University, Faculty of Medicine in 2002. Completed pediatric residency program at University of Toronto, the Hospital for Sick Children and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics in 2007. Completed 3 years fellowship in neonatal perinatal medicine at University of Toronto and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in 2010. Currently work as an assistant consultant in Pediatrics at King Abdulaziz University.
Research Interests
Interested in phosphate metabolism, incidence and consequences of hypophosphatemia in the very low birth weight infants. Interested in cohort studies and systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Scientific interests
As a member of the Pediatric department at King Abdulaziz University, to provide a well organized and resourceful medical environment is my goal to enrich our community with well prepared future physicians.
