(a)    Sedimentary mineralogy and petrography

(b)   Evaluate the statistical distributions of heavy minerals and the formation of mineralogical facies in continental shelves, costal areas and fluvial systems in relation to sediment provenance and hydrodynamics in order to reconstruct the evolution and transportation pathways.

(c)    High-resolution heavy mineral analyses including their geochemistry in sedimentary sequences to determine provenance

(d)   Strategic assessment of placer deposits along the eastern coast of the Red Sea
