Education:

· Ph. D., in Political Science, University of Arizona (UA), USA.

  • Major in International Relations (with area of concentration in International Political Economy and in Foreign Policy).
  • Minor in Comparative Politics, Political Behavior, and Political Research methodology.

· M. A., in political Science, UA (Major in International Relations, Minor in Comparative Politics).

· B. S., in Political Science, King Abdul-Aziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia.

Professional Responsibilities:

· Director of the Public Policy Graduate Program; Associate Professor, Political Science Department, KAU.

· President of the "Expertise House for Public Policy Studies", an office that provides specialized consultation and Research services, under the umbrella of the "Business and Knowledge Alliance", KAU.

· Vice President of the Saudi Political Science Association (SPSA), 2011-2014.

Research interests:

In addition to the above areas of specialization, the research interests include issues related to: political risk assessment, public policy analyses, development and social transformation, globalization, political economy, and political curriculum design.

·  “Special Symposium on Saudi-American Relations, in the 75th memorial of the Historical meeting between King Abdulaziz Al-Saud and President Franklin Roosevelt, Feb. 14, 1945” (Jeddah - KAU, March 2, 2020).

· ”The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Challenges of a Transforming World Order”,  The Grand OIC Symposium titled “Prospects of Joint Islamic Action”, organized by OIC  (Jeddah, Nov. 26, 2019).

· Preparing and Conducting “Advanced Political Analysis of Contemporary International Issues Training Program” for the Saudi Foreign Ministry Employees, in Cooperation with “Prince Saud Alfaisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies”, (Jeddah 21-25 January 2018).

· Preparing and Conducting “The International Crisis Management Training Program” for the Saudi Foreign Ministry Employees, in Cooperation with the “Institute of Diplomatic Studies”, (Jeddah 20-24 April 2014).
