HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, has made the following administrative decisions:
• Appointing Dr Hisham Jameel Abdullah Bardeesi as Dean of Distance Learning.
• Assigning Dr Abdullah Mustafa Abdulgadir Mihriji, Dean of Student Affairs, to also act as Director of the Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies Research.
• Reassigning Mr Ahmed Salim Mubarak Bawakid to act as Chief Administrator, Teachers' College in Jeddah.
• Assigning Dr Aziza Abdullah Tayyeb, Vice Dean for Development, Girls' Division, to also act as Vice Dean of the Girls' Division on behalf of Dr Khadija Omar Badahdah.
• Promoting Dr Fatima Khinaifis Al Thubaiti to the position of an associate professor.
• Reappointing Dr Adnan Jaman Mohammed Turki as Vice Dean, Faculty of Marine Sciences.
• Assigning Dr Manal Ibrahim Madeeni, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Activities, to also act as Deputy Supervisor General of the Diploma in Education Programme.
• Assigning Ms Watfa Salih Ghurashi to act as Deputy Director of the Department of Caterers' Follow-up for one year at the Girls' Housing and the Medical Center.
• Appointing Dr Layla Jabir Abdullah Al Ghalib as Vice Dean of Distance Learning, Girls' Division.
• Appointing Dr Igbal Ahmed Abdulghafoor Attar as Head Department of Educational Home Economics, Faculty of Home Economics.
• Reassigning Dr Abdulghadir Mohammed Dawood Tankal to act as Head Department of Security and Safety, Vice Presidency for Projects.
• Assigning Ms Fadia Mohammed Zaglool to act as Manager of the Office of the Dean of the Girls' Division for one year.
• Assigning Ms Jumana Subhi Bakir to act as Chief Administrator for one year, Deanship of Distance Learning.
• Assigning Dr Faida Hassan Bamani, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, to also act as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.
• Assigning Dr Hussein Abdulrahman Mahdi Al Mihdar to act as Head Department of Scholarships.
• Reassigning Ms Wafa Mohammed Al Sabban as Chief Administrator of Classrooms for one year, Girls' Division.
• Appointing Ms Hanan Mas Mohammed Al Jimaee as Head of the Sub-committee on Islamic Education at the Female Teachers' College.
• Appointing Ms Nasreen Khalid Hamdi Al Otaibi as Head of the Sub-committee on Islamic Education at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
• Appointing Ms Nuha Waleed Hussein Abu Al Faraj as Head of the Sub-committee on Students' Sports Activities at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
• Appointing Ms Basma Abdullah Mohammed Al Sinnari as Head of the Sub-committee on Social Activities at the Faculty of Home Economics.
• Appointing Dr Jalal Addin Aazam Jalal Awliya Khan as Head Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Sciences.
• Assigning Mr Mohammed Abdulaziz Mohammed Aba Alkhail to act as Vice Dean for Development, Teachers' College.
• Assigning Dr Faida Hassan Bamani, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, to also act as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medical Applied Sciences as from 10th Rabi Alaawal 1430.
• Reappointing Dr Rashad Azdi Rimi Bantam as Vice Dean for Development, Faculty of Marine Sciences.
• Assigning Dr Manal Fawwaz Abdullah Kayyal to act as Deputy Head of the Computer Skills Unit.
• Appointing Dr Naif Abid Ibrahim Al Zarra'a as Head Department of Special Education, Teachers' College.
