Abstract : The research aims at suggesting a program based on microteaching to develop practical training in the light of the needs of female teachers in the College of Education for Girls in Jeddah Literary Forums. A questionnaire has been prepared and given to a selected group of trainees of the third and forth year of the following majors: Islamic studies, Arabic studies, History, Geography and English. The study assures that the needs for teaching training skills are higher than the overall average. It confirms that training is needed for third and fourth year trainees of the all the mentioned specializations. Therefore, special consideration should be given to both major and minor teaching skills by focusing on establishing a profound background on these skills. In addition, the study suggests establishing a class-room for microteaching in the colleges of education to encourage the trainees to practice and master the microteaching skills. Moreover, a study entitled "The Effectiveness of Proposed Training Program for Students of Education" is suggested. This study is based on microteaching skill of modern teaching strategies such as: beyond knowledge strategies, the multiple I.Q. strategies, the building theory of teaching strategies and the teaching thinking strategies
