Abstract : The disclosure of the impact of images on the skill of visual recognition in reading for first grade students called the primary researcher conducting the following experiment: (21 to identify a student to read single words presented together) by: 1 - Words have meaning, but to fit in the pictures. 2 - words with the appropriate images. 3 - the word has no meaning accompany the images. 4 - words without pictures. Indicates the existence of photographs suitable for incorrect responses more than any other case. The situation presented without a picture were the best to acquire the skill of visual recognition in reading, and have had the largest number of responses that enable students to demonstrate the skills to identify the printed word for consciousness and awareness. The results also indicated that whether a photo negative or positive impact on the skill of visual recognition in reading it depends on the relationship between the image and the printed word and parity direct impede the exercise of student skills in reading visual recognition.
