Abstract : The search seeks to show an "artistic study of the traditional ornaments in thee :(E southern "area of Hadramout" to inspire and update the complete decoration in the clothes "and the search seeks to study the complete decoration for the traditional ornaments in the " area of Hadramout "through the study of the techniques and designs of the popular traditional ornaments in the area and how they are affected by different civilizations, and identifying the names and the different forms and their locations, their development across the eras, and the employed instruments in the formation of the ornaments for detecting the artistic and aesthetic values in the designs and the garnishes and the ways employed in the ornaments, and originating new designs of the traditional ornaments in the southern area Hadramaut to produce accessories for decoration using them in the field of the clothes and textile, and processing some operations in the mixing different materials assorted to innovating accessories for the decoration. The researcher has followed the descriptive, analytic. Surveying and historical methods in a sample of women and the professional goldsmiths in traditional formation of the ornaments. The research was divided into seven chapters dealing with the following items: * The first chapter: Plan of the search. * The second chapter: The previous studies. * The third chapter: Study of the traditional ornaments across the old civilizations and the Islamic areas. * The fourth chapter: The geographical background of the area. * The fifth chapter: The garnish elements of the traditional ornaments in the southern area to of Yemen "Hadramaut". * The sixth chapter: The practical application and the personal experiment of the researcher. * The seventh chapter: The results and the recommendations and appendixes. The researcher has concluded that there is a similarity in the traditional popular ornaments between the southern area of Yemen and the Arabic and Islamic states but in different names. The ornaments with their designs their garnishes, technological materials and technical ways are considered important sources which helped the research to innovate modern designs with authentic past and modern fashions. The researcher suggests the necessity of preserving the heritage generally and protecting the traditional ornaments especially from extinction and the loss
