Abstract : Addressed the current study, the use of doctors, King Fahd Hospital of the Armed Forces of the sources of electronic information, in order to identify the extent and volume of their use of these resources and of medical databases on CD-ROM and the Internet, as well as to identify the motives of the use of doctors to these sources, and the difficulties they face in their use. Through the study sample that came from doctors at the hospital, King Fahad Armed Forces in Jeddah, highlighted the findings of her study that the Internet has become indispensable for clinicians to pursue new developments in the field of medicine, and the majority of doctors using medical databases on CD-ROM. And had recommended that the study should be marketing to the hospital library and information services provided by, and the need to activate its role to encourage doctors to develop scientific research.
