Facial wound caused by animal attack require proper wound management . Moreover , the evaluation and treatment plan of facial wounds must always include the possibility of rabies . BECAUSE OF ITS INFREQUENT OCCURRENCE IN HUMANS , MANY CLINICIANS may not be cognizant of the current antirabies prophylaxis .
