| The International Federation for Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy Course (IFCPC) was launched on Sunday 12th January by Dr Ahmed Nagadi, KAU Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity.
The three day event is hosted by the Scientific Chair of Prof Abdullah Hussein Basalamah for Gynecological Cancer.
The launching ceremony was attended by Prof Abdullah Hussein Basalamah and a host of prominent international scientists, including Prof James Robert Bentley, of Dalhousie University, Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada, Dr Mario Sideri, Director of Preventive Gynaecology Unit Gynaecology Division, European Institute of Oncology, Italy, and Prof Walter Prendiville, President of IFCPC.
The IFCPC course is one of the most important international training sessions structured to improve clinical competence and performance focused around the study, prevention, diagnosis of gynecological cancer, according to Prof Khalid Sait, Director Of Gynecology Oncology Unit and Chairman of the Scientific Chair Of Prof Abdullah Hussain Basalamah for Gynecological.
Target audience include gynaecologists, pathologists and family physicians.
